My Family

We live in ridgeway street. My address is 15A

My name is Kuea and I have seven brothers five sisters and my mum and my dad in my family. My families names are Viliami, Soane, Manu, Saia, Sifa, Mateaki, Vikilani, Maryanne, Lucinda, Palu, Sia and Luisa.

We have five rooms. Viliami, Soane and I sleep in the same room. My brother sleeps by himself. And my other brothers sleep together. My sister Sia sleeps with my sister Marryanne. Luisa sleeps with my sister Lucinda.

My sister Marryanne goes to Auckland Grammar. My older sister goes to university. My older brothers go to Sacred Heart. Viliami, Soane, Sia, Palu, Luisa and I go to Glenbrae School .

I  am nine years old.Viliami is nine years old too. Luisa is twelve years old . Sia is eleven years old. My older brother Sifa is fourteen years old. My other brothers are fifteen years old. My other sister Maryanne is sixteen. My big sister is nineteen. My dad is forty two and my mum is forty.

Viliami, Soane, Sifa, Lani, Mateaki, Palu and I play rugby at Marist club. Luisa and Sia play netball.

My family is tongan .  

They are the best family ever.

kiwi can

Today we went to kiwi can.Today was are last day for kiwi can.when we went inside we got into our house lines.The kiwi can leaders were M.sr numia and Miss tuia.And they said a german word it meant good morning.The first thing that we talked about was what was the topic and the theme.Then we played a game called body parts.On body parts you have to match your body parts.you have to pair up with a buddy too.Then we went back down to the floor and talked about what was the topics we were talking about for the term.then we played a game called bus stop.For bus stop you have to write 5 subjects and you have to do a letter and you have to write a word starting with that letter.then we went back to the mat.Then it was time to go back to class.

We found this activity challenging because we got mixed up with the height and the length of the two classroom doors.

The police station

The police station is important because if there is someone robbing your house the police can arrest them and they go to jail for it.

If there is a drunk driver they will speed and the police can stop them from speeding and tell them to go home and sleep.

The police can stop crime and solve crime.If gangs see police they will run and the police will chase them and catch them.

Police can save us if someone is trying to kill you. They are very important because because if there was no police you will die.

Police stations are everywhere because gang people will get away with thing also stealers and drunk people and speeders.

Police stations are important because at night people do bad things and wreck things too.Cops are people that arrest people that are bad.They are good people because they save people too.police do serious work they don’t be silly.that is why  police stations are important.

Duffy role model assembly

Today we had a Duffy assembly.The role models were opera singers.There names were Felipe manu,Maddison nonu,and Katherine.They told us about when they started reading and told us were they sang and were they were going.After they told us about there singing.Then they sang a song called Shanon it was a sad song.And then we asked some questions some of the questions were interesting.

After that we gave out the Duffy books to the glenbrae students the 
role models helped us give out the Duffy books.Felipe manu was Tongan Maddison was half samoan and katherine was maori.And then they had to go.Miss Raj dissmissed us all.

Room 10’s Houses

Today  we went  to the courts and went into our house lines and then we stood up and ran three laps while we were running Mr Nath was timing us. Kauri had 1 m and 50 seconds and Rata had 2m 10 seconds.and kowhai had 2m and 55 seconds.and nikau 3m and 10 seconds.so kauri came first rata came second kowhai came third and nikau came last.

Second we did push up runs kauri came second rata came last  kowhai came third  and nikau came first.kauri was too fast for us and rata but we still came third if we were slow we would of bin last.

For  the next activity, we did sit up runs we had to do six runs but kowhai only had five people so one person had to do an extra run.kauri came first kowhai came second rata came third and nikau came last again.

After we did shuttle runs. on shuttle runs you have to run and touch the line and then come back and tap the other person's hand so they can run and do the same thing.kauri came first kowhai came second rata came third and nikau came last.

Finally we had to assemble in our house colours it was one of the challenges we lined up and went to M.sr nath and sat down.kowhai came first rata came second nikau came third and sadly kauri came last.

I felt very happy because it was a lot  of fun to me my favourite part was the sit up runs and the press up runs.kauri were the winner’s.next time we are going to try are best to be the winner’s next time.kauri had an trophy for winning and nikau had a trophy for being last.
